ABOUT PEOPLE GROW PEOPLE
ANNEMARIE GEREIS
I’m a Learning and Organisational Development Specialist focused on supporting small to medium businesses build confident leaders, aligned teams, and scalable operations. I design practical programs in negotiation, client experience, and organisational readiness, supporting founders and partners become investor-ready or improve how they hire, manage, and lead. Using surveys and insight reports, I give leaders the data and structure they need to strengthen collaboration, make better decisions, and grow sustainably.
​
My approach is both strategic and human-centred. I’ve worked across government, education, and the creative industries, designing capability-building programs that improve performance and deliver meaningful results. Whether it’s guiding the rollout of Salesforce at Parramatta Council, implementing systems for crisis communications for the 2019 Rural Fire Service or developing leadership frameworks for scaling creative studios, my goal is to make growth practical, measurable, and scalable.

My passion for organisational development began in the visual effects industry, where I worked on film and television projects including Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. In that environment, I saw first-hand how creativity, leadership, and trust come together under pressure. Those lessons still guide how I support teams and leaders to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and perform at their best.

I regularly lecture on creativity, leadership, and the future of work on the national and international stage including SIGGRAPH, the Academy of Interactive Technology, Texas Christian University and University Of New South Wales.
Outside of work, I love dancing West Coast Swing and Brazilian Zouk, an outlet for exploring creativity, connection, and community in new ways.
